Resolved 2G What is this part?

Was replacing the headlights on my 97 GS-T and saw that and what seemed like a squared filter behind it. I’ve read 2g DSMs don’t have a cabin filter and the cold air intake is above it so what part is that?

Look at the piping going to it. That's your intercooler
