i was just wondering what are the supporting mods so i can get close to 11's. im in the works of redoing it. the last owner blow the turbo and i got a steal on it. only for 900.00 yes that is correct. i have but a 14b on it for. now until rockford racecraft can get the timing fix and we are going to tear it apart. it is a auto. i wondering what mod will help me reach by goal for start up . thanks:thumb:

Three angle valve job people say with a good valve job 20% increase in horse. And it's only acouple of hundred bucks if you can remove and install the head yourself. good luck

Not cheap and not easy. Hunt around the Members section for the fast timeslips, then check their profiles to get a better idea of the modifications they did to achieve those times.

Since you have an auto I would go to IPT and get a nice converter, shiftkit, and a big tranny cooler. Other than that with the right turbo and supporting mods 11's wont be insanely hard. I've seen quite a few guys in the 11's with EVOIII's

Take a look
Tech Guide - DSMtuners
You will need something to tune with Ecmlink is great, fuel mods, exhaust, and a turbo. Look into a 50 trim. Before you do anything read as much as you can on the forum and search search search.
Good luck!!!!

Well 11's huh? since your in the same position as me, AUTOMATIC you will defiantly need a nice LSD, a decent shift kit (translap etc.), plus some polyurethane motor mount inserts will help with wheel hop we are plagued with. Try eliminating all weight you can live with. You will definitely need some fuel mods, 3" exhaust, bigger turbo and a tuning device. Do as Drubble said also, you can get a general idea of what your setup will consist of in the end. Good luck.

you guys are very helpful and i thank you for that but can you be a more info on the fuel mods that is where im couldve stuck im going to be get a dsm link and program it at the dyno. i have heard of people weilding the diff what are they actually doing and what is the down side on this.

and one more thing what can be removed but not beseen that is removed for weight saving .

For fuel a 255 should work right guys? You will need a new FPR to control flow from the 255. If you could use a 190lph to get sufficient flow you won't need a new FPR. You will need bigger injectors, 550's should be ok maybe 660's though depending on what horsepower you will be looking for. I would also re-wire the fuel pump when you get it. Also just buy a decent LSD they aren't that pricey really and you will be more then happy with it.

For me I pulled out my spare tire, and all tools associated with it. Rear seats, spoiler, rear wiper motor and wiper, A/C and all components, cruise control and all componets. I'd say it saved me a little over 150 pounds. Oh and I have light weight wheels but they were on the car so I dont know how much they weigh compared to stock. carbon fiber hood and hatch, and doors will save you a little 50-100 pounds I'm sure. Good luck!

The best advice I can give you is to read through a bunch of posts and try and gather a parts list. It will take a lot of research but it will be worth it.
