What happens when you drop a valve head at 130MPH !

Heres the carnage that happened when the previous owner of this car dropped a valve head at 130MPH .... all stock motor 167K miles. Its now been replaced with a JDM. Centerforce Dual friction clutch vacuum line delete and a manual boost controller

That's pretty good work. My brother did that once, not at that speed though. Pieces of the valve ended up in the turbo.

I would imagine that if he was running 100+ mph sustained for say longer than 20 minutes I can see that happening. Would have been in boost the whole time and those vavles would be red hot. I imagine the car was overheating as well at least I would expect it to.

Me and some buddies was running late to an autocross and so we was doing 90-100 most the whole way with a 350Z leading the way. With 3 DSM's and 1 Z take a guess how many cars overheated and had to pull over? 2 of the 3 DSMs which happend to both be 1G's and the other 3rd a 2G. Was egg in the face for the DSM that day.

That was because of my turbo though.
Remember the jerry rigged intercooler piping I had to do?
