what fluids? [Merged 6-7]

I use non-synthetic GL4 spec lubes. 75W-90 for the transmission and transfer case and 80W-90 for the rear differential. I actually like it better than the Redline MT-90 I was using before although it's a little stiff until warm in colder weather.

I use synthetic 75w-90 in all three usually. Right now im using regular 10w30 motor oil in my high mileage tranny and it has been working great. Im was getting some bearing noise but it went away. Now its coming back. Im having a tranny built right now with double synchro's in 1st and second along with 4 spider gear and torrington bearing. I will be using redline once I get that, and I cant wait.

Quick question. Couldn't find a previous post regarding if its a good idea or not to use 80w-90, in my transfer case? Is this to heavy of an oil??? Will I end up regretting it???
Thanks.

I use 80-90 on my talon also marcus (tsi150) and his bro, and a couple of other friends we all use the same weight, with out any problems.

I am new to the DSM world but I already love it. I have my first car a 1993 Eagle Talon TSi AWD and I am flushing all oils. I would like to know what the best fluids are for a all season driven car like mine. I live in Qc,Canada so temp are from -40 to 40. I want a really good fluid and i dont mind spending money. Thanks in advance.
