What does misfire sound like?

My car sounds like it bogs during idle and from what i read on the forums i think i am getting misfire during idle. What does it sound like. I have a datalogger. Any way to check with that?

Mis-fire will sound like a pop. About the same type of sound as when you pop a bubble in bubble wrap that is about 1/2 an inch big.


The sound is actually louder, but from in the car, it sounds like the bubble wrap.

Are there any reasons you would be running rich that you know of?

I cant get plviwer working so i cant post the log but the o2 voltage was .86 then as the RPM increased would go up to .94. At idle the o2 is about .87 .88. Idle is really bad and once in a while it drops to 0 then i have to press the gas and it goes up.
