2G What do you think of my headlamps

I think the car needs some more black.

Hey me too:), black coated drilled and slotted rotors are next!

Car looks very nice, but could use a nice front mount. I know a lot of people aren't usually a fan of aftermarket projectors, but I think they look good. :thumb:

Thanks man, that's my next thing to do, just bought hard smic piping from Dejon, kinda regretting not going all out with fmic.

You know the black come off right, its only a coating for rust so they dont have to oil them in the factory, no discs stay black or any color there coated in

Hmmm, just read the description and the zinc coating rubs off, oops haha. Just gonna get normal ones now

the hubs and outer of the disc stay black for anti rust protection as my dba have stayed black but sorry to break your dreams of a stealth car haha

Just quickly counting, I only saw maybe 1 post that could be considered commenting on the headlamps.
The headlamps are pretty trashy looking imo. It's all the unnecessary chrome and that flat backing that the "projectors" stick out from. Is the signal marker orange/amber?

Otherwise, much like the other commenters, the car looks great and it is, indeed, black.

they aren't for me as far as looks go. you should post a pic of what the look like on at night!

I'll post a night pic tomorrow but here's another up close I had in my phone.

Love the headlights man where did you get them at? might get me some for my spyder

I wanted to buy a name brand headlight because I thought it would be better quality, so I bought IPCW eclipse headlights from eBay.. To be honest you can get the same exact looking headlight for cheaper of eBay. Just type in black head lamp

I like them. I have had the same ones on my car for over 3 years. Definatly great lamps, I love how they look. . .

Do these use the stock bulbs? Or do you have to wire in new ones? I already have a HID kit that I would like to get some projectors for, even if they aren't true HID projectors. They should still be better then the blinders I have now.

They come with bulbs (low beam and highbeam) and just plug into the stock socket of the car, they are not white (HID), and the turn signal bulb/socket is part of the car so it just twists into the turn signal of the headlamp which is not white so I changed it to an LED light and that also just twists in. But yes I wired in HID bulbs for my low beams because it looks much cleaner in a projector, but a hard time fitting my "IPCW" headlamp with my car so I'd advise to just buy some brand off eBay because I have before and it fit better.

Ah I see, thanks for the clarification. This has always been whats stopping me from getting some of these. I already have the HID's installed, and they use the stock bulb type (9006 I believe?). So these would not fit into the housing of the projector's.

There is only one brand I know of that uses the stock bulbs and that's Eagle Eyes. But I can't find them anymore. The eagle eyes ones were my favorite since they looked factory. I just never got my hands on em.

Edit: Forgot to mention yours look good!

Edit Squared: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1997-1999-M...Parts_Accessories&hash=item484611608f&vxp=mtr

These are the ones I was talking about, but in chrome. There used to be black ones available. Turns out I was wrong and they don't use the stock bulb type either.
