^^ I'd like to know how that turns out. I'm still on the fence big time on what em to run on my 1g. Not really worked on my dsm but I'm waiting on my EVO8 maf and bep bolt housing for my Holset FTW!!!

well I started off tuning with 450s and jackal. figured out the ins and outs of sd tuning (started small), then moved up to evo 8 560s. Now I'm ready to put my turbo to the test with the 750s. eventualy I will switch over to e85 and larger injectors. Getting rid of my maf was the best thing I have ever done to my talon. I've heard people say that tuning an sd set up is difficult but i would have to dissagree. I will never change the engine management set up that I have!:thumb:
 
just cleaned her up today, oh wait i do that everyday

fixed my idle surge, fixed my dust cover brake squeak, kind of fixed my clutch pedal being 1.3 inches from the floor now it's like 1.8

had the same problem, my clutch master cylinder was bad,
look for leakage on the floorboard, but dont just check carpet look undernreath mine found a secret pathway:thumb:

That's great man, I want to do the same exact thing just work my way up to the holset.

But I have to ask because no one can really seem to answer this for me. How is sd with the cold weather in colorado?? Do you have to retune it when it get's really cold?? The reason I ask is because I live in Alaska and gets freaking cold. I just don't want to have to tune everytime it get's like -20 degrees and then goes back up to 25 degrees you know?

once you get your tune dialed in all you have to do is adjust your ait enrichment table for the temperature you are at. Once you get all your ait temps were they need to be, no more messing with anything. I have drivin in single digit days and very hot days and she runs like a dream.
 
-Car has been clicking for hundreds of miles. Thought it was axle so drove for about two weeks waiting for special order axle.
-Jacked up car to take off wheel. What the mutha fuggin F. Missing one lug nut. Hand twisted all lug nuts OFF out without any tools.
-Pissed off at buddy for not tightening it all the way. Yelling at myself how I could of die because of all that highway driving and very hard raining condition.
-Working on installing new axles right now even though it's not clicking but is making loud noises!
What a Bxxxx!
 
I put my exhaust back together and hung it back on the hangers, still waiting on my oil drain kit to come in from extreme psi so I can start it up after my HX40 install.
 
The timing rebuild and ARP install begins.

OMG!

you have to do something about that mess in your engine! there are so many things going on that it looks like a maze i wouldn't:cry: even touch!

i got just finished installing my Profec-B II and finally washed it since i got it back : D
 
Put in a new clutch master cylinder, I read all the horror stories about doing it and was dreading it. They were greatly exaggerated, had it done in a 1/2 hour.
 
Finished swapping the engine on my new 93 winter car, and drained all the gear oil and replaced with new stuff. Got the shitty hacked exhaust off of it, OEM exhaust waiting to go on. And just picked up a new set of rear brakes to throw on this one too.

After that, all thats left is a set of speakers and a head unit and this baby is ready to hit the snow!
 
Lets see I removed the battery disconect switch from the rear bumper, installed nitrous systems One for the intercooler, and one for the motor, checked my plugs, changed the oil, installing dynomat now so i can reinstall the carpet.
 
Pulled the motor out... of yet another one... :thumb:

It works great. I got it for $45 at my local Kragen auto parts store. The part number is LIS36200. Also you can order it from snap-on, Mac tools, even amazon. I did not try Autozone, car quest, or Napa auto you can try those places.

I just changed oil, topped-up squirter-juice, checked lug torques (try it sometime, My Dreamt DSM! :p), checked coolant, cleaned windshield (interior), set tire pressure: Preparing for the x-mas drive. Maybe I should do my shopping now? I've got priorities, damnit!

Mine let go on me over the summer. I bought a new one and just dove in. Finished it up in maybe an hour. Not hard at all, actually a lot more straight forward than I expected.

Today I ordered the FP Evo3 16g Christmas kit!!!! Turbo, manifold, fuel pump, fuel pump rewire kit, and gaskets galore! I'm so stoked and can't wait! Now all I need is ECMLink and a SD set up! (and injectors)

A member (who will remain nameless for now) is doing a little something special for me. That is all I will say for now :cool:
