Whats wrong with them?

I couldn't get into 2, 4, or reverse. So I follow linkage cable path and see that there is some coble exposed. I cover cable with the sleeve, and it goes into gear just fine. During this process, I pull the damn cable o-ring out of the bushing... So now I'm trying to get the damn thing back in there while I wait to get some skateboard bearings that are non-existant here in north GA. And its f ing raining

i can make some brass bushings for it if youre interested. no shit the rain :(. but im happy. my delta cams should be here any day now, and I just got done ordering link. now if I can get some money back on my tax return, if I ever get the time to file, ill be looking for a turbo as well. or if I can sell my turbo setup that wont work on my 1g because of the damn crossmember :(

Put the rear seat back in the Talon. :sneaky:

How difficult was this overall? Was thinking of doing poly bushings myself.. @ny special tools you recomend?

I wouldn't want to do it again, that's for sure.

I used the following:
air-powered Body saw
electric sawzall
5-lb dead blow
flat head screw drivers
air-hammer with chisel tips
air-ratchet
a bolt/washers/nut combo to draw/press in/pull the new bushings into the housings
propane torch
12-ton press
patience, lots of it.

I was gonna install my fuel lab afpr, but I was sent the wrong rail fitting..So scrap that project for today..LOL

Then I flipped my CAS and the car sounds more healthy..I might have flipped it on accident..

Im reading 22 vacume at peak then, it trickles to about 19..So I have a nice vacumme leak..

I was getting a couple psi of boost pressure at like 1500 rpms..That was cool...

Ripped off the head to take to the machine shop for a freshen up before I put it on my fresh forged block. Also decided to clean a few things up so I sandblasted the intake manifold, thermostat housing, water neck, and throttle body. Then decided to give it all a slight polish. Gonna bolt the block to the stand tomorrow and start assembling the odds and ins. Mainly waiting on my tensioner and water pump bolts from STM.

She should be running great when its done. I didn't cheap out on anything this time and EVERYTHING is brand new, minus the 3mm lifters and crower springs/retainers LOL.

Lets see..

*Put in my small 16g turbo
*changed the thermostat and gasket
*replaced cracked valve cover
*changed spark plugs
*Replaced clutch salve and master cylinder
*Replaced hermonic balancer
*Oil change

That about sums up my long week trying to get her to pur smooth once again

Installed my 2gb talon fog lamps in my spyder. Now I need to order a different FMIC as my PR core won't fit, although I expected that.

Painting some bits of the interior that are long over due. Finally, my window vents by the mirrors on my 2g won't be all dry rotted and missing bits.

Painted interior

I have some spares LOL. Got my evo.8 setup and fmic on now btw.

eh thanks anyway but ive already got some on order. if they'll ever ship! extremepsi is usually pretty good about getting your order shipped but ive received no confirmation email saying its shipped. got link setup on my laptop, changed my steering wheel out to one I pulled from a laser that was in really good shape right before the rain hit. congrats on the install. how you liking it so far? mine is up for sale since it wont fit in my talon without major modification to either the xmember or the manifold, or both :banghead:. so im in the market for an hx35 now LOL. until then im gonna get used to link on the stock turbo and my evo 8 injectors

Well I have two pre_turbine leaks so atm tbh it sucks LOL spools 17 around 37 deoending on the gear. Getting a evo 8 MR turbo soon, and some diff piping too, sd kit should have come in today.
When I have everything its all coming off and flanges are getting planed and everything is going back in with the MR turbo.

My pr core is doing great keeping knock away.
