All that's left is to complete the Oil feed line filter/restrictor/pressure sensor assembly is next, then some small tweaks to the external aero work, final electrical device testing, fill all fluids, tuck and restrain as many lines/wires underhood as it feasible, then its finally time to fire up!

Wrapping up some big-ass coolant and oil catch cans!

For the curious.. they are made from 4" pipe, if that provides reference for size.

This. Agreed. Working on cooling issues, but will be down by next week to meet up. If that wasn't the case, I'd make the drive to you. 2 hours through Athens. Not too bad.

Well the talon isnt finished just yet. Hopefully by this weekend she should be running, but still have a bit to go before i start an hour drive LOL. Still got to pull the oilpan off the gst to dig out an injector seal i dropped. Kinda curious to see what falls out. I found a piece of piston sitting on the back of the crossmember LOL. That engine literally grenaded

Try burning E85 :sneaky: you'll never go back.

MJ- Link to this turbo install? Sounds like a sweet setup.
I was running 9_10* peak timing on the 14b @ 18#s seeing knock in 4th and fifth. Smic was overheating. Switch to this turbo setup and pr fmic, loaded evo8 ralliart timing and octane maps which are decently more aggressive than stock 2g, didn't change the timing curve or fuel curve, and running 18#s I see zero knock. I havent data logged a run so tbh idk my peak timing.

switch to sd yesterday and watching IATs they never go above ambient. My stock fan fits on the driver side but its alil in the way of the inlet. Now I need new intake piping to run back to the stock filter location because with the stock fan there I cant get a filter on the, inlet plus I'd rather not be drawing air from, right in front of the rad LOL.

I didn't document the install but it all will coming back off gor the MR turbo and flanges getting planed. Ill take pix of it all then.

If I switch power and ground wires on this spal I have laying around could I mount,it in front and make it a pusher fan?

Mj hell yea man i would. Only thing is, i read somewhere that you have to get your rods rebored after swapping to arps. Is this true?
yes, and no. Some have done it without doing and not had issues. Id say you could probably get away with it without problems. Just plastigauge to make sure clearances dont change. And check the circle to make sure it stays good. And isnt distorted.

Easily capable. I made 392 awhp at 22psi on 92 pump gas to give you an idea. The hx40 could be a 700hp turbo with the right complimentary mods fyi.

When a build my second engine itll be installed with my current kit and fp black evo 9 turbo. 700+ hp turbo with spool of a 20g or better.

Have you seen the thread about Force doing abolt on evo X manifold turbo setup?

Yeah and it doesn't look like FE is going to be getting that done anytime soon. And the final price will mostly end up more than most will want to pay. Itd be a good setup but it won't beat my setup with an IX fp black. Spools starts around 3000 & 40+ psi can be reached by 4000. FP black is DCBB as well so itll out perform any jb turbo in comparison.

Cleaned and re-installed the interior after months of it being out of the car.

Im assuming youre talking about your stock fan? And yes reversing polarity makes it run backwards, but it wont fit in front of the rad, and the blades would run backwards, so not to effective

Not stock, a 10" or maybe 12" spal slim fan I have laying around. Was wondering if I could reverse it and install in front of the rad fir turbo clearance how well it would work.
