Water lines and 68HTA install on a 2G

Im kind of at a loss as to which way i should go on this. I have a fpT28 on the car right now with no water lines (how i originally got the car). I have a brand spanking new FP 68HTA that is going on this weekend. I have chosen to run the oil from the head, but its the water lines I'm lost on.

Ive searched the forums and come up with a few questions.

If you look at the first 2 pictures you see the previous owner just used a bolt to plug the one line that just ends. The other line that goes to the thermostat housing is looped to the pipe that comes from under my water pipe. I think its a 7bolt block.

The third picture is of the banjo bolts to barbed end fittings I got from FP.

So what do a source for a feed and what do a source for a return?

Do i use the barb from the plugged fitting? what about the looped one? Also what about the bolt in the block.

Would it be right to use the plugged bolt as a feed and get a 3/8 BSP male to 6AN adapter for the block and put a 90 bend to a locking barb end for the return?

Says its good to 250F but considering how close the banjo bolts are to the center section do you think it will stand up to the heat?

I dont want to have to go stainless because then i would need to tap the thermostat and get new banjo fittings for my turbo.

Any suggestions?

Don't try to gheddo rig your brand new $1,000 16g on steroids, order brand new 14b waterpipes, banjo bolts, and crush washers. When I did my HTA68 install I did this and I paid less than $30 for the lines, $3 for each banjo bolt, & pocket change for the crush washers. I can get you pictures but you'll have to wait until tonight since I can't get onto photobucket from work...

As far as getting oil to your turbo, once again don't gheddo rig your brand new HTA68, both of these kits work REALLY well you just have to decide where you want to feed oil to the turbo from. Oil feed from head / Oil feed from filter housing

You can feed the turbo either from the head or the filter housing without a restrictor. It uses the same install kit as a regular 16g turbo.
 
So then which line goes where? The one that is capped off the water pipe i assume is the feed and goes to the front of the turbo? But then where does the return go? Its not the one that is looped back to the thermostat housing is it?

As far as the oil feed i have the kit for both the OFH and head, pretty much the same as the ones you posted. Im pretty sure im going to go with the feed from the head considering my balance shafts are removed and i dont want the high pressures to kill the turbo. Unfortunately I thought of this after the fact when i originally purchase the turbo and install kit.

Im actually really stoked to see what this thing can do. Im putting a set of fp1x cams in at the same time.

In the picture below they are running stock 1g coolant lines to the turbo, like I suggest you use on your HTA68. The coolant feed is the rubber line with a 90* turn in connected to the coolant hardline that secures to the compressor housing. The coolant return is the rubber line thats under the compressor housing, then attached to a hardline thats connected to the CHRA with a banjo bolt. Get OEM hardlines for it, I'm telling you those ones that FP sent with your turbo look shady...

I'm running E85, have a boost leak out my FMIC, and a lifting head so my HTA68 numbers might be alittle skewed from reality. With all that above I still did 350 awhp, after I replace the FMIC core and put in some ARP studs and a built head it should be a gimmy 400 awhp running 28psi.
