Guys, I'm very sorry I didn't ever see the replies to this thread and failed to update it! I ended up pulling my fuel pump assembly and got some pics to follow up. The Toyota seal completely fixed my issue! Yayy!

3a. Use Toyota/EVO O-ring/Seal; Toyota Part#: 23239-21010 or Mitsu Part#: MR431121
3a1. Only this seal will be used on nipple in the green circle when installing back into the housing?
So I just read another thread stating that the seal needs to be kept in place with something or it'll blow out under high pressure. I actually ended up using a bunch of viton O-rings as a shim to keep the damn Toyota seal in place! Did not wanna have to take the dang fuel pump assembly out again under any circumstances since I hate doing it LOL. There is no way the seal will move under high fuel pressure this way :D
Also, DEFINITELY do the fuel siphon mod with this install!
Pics for anyone who needs them:
Don't mind the loose siphon mechanism with the exposed o-ring as I was getting ready to remove it and then snapped this pic.

I'm going to bump this thread with some more results. My "new to me" '95 GSX has had blowout issues with fuel pressure from two different 450s (from my conclusion based on increasing VE to not resolving my lean issue). I swapped to a HP 450 pump, and reused basically a fuel rubber hose to act as an o-ring/grommet on the nozzle (was previously installed like this). Sometime this week I'm swapping it out to an EVO/Toyota seal. I will always try sleeving the nozzle under that seal so that it reinforces it. I will post updates as soon as I get to it.

So i will say now we always do a bulkhead fitting. But back in the day we installed quite a few 450's without it and never had issues. My memory says we would cut the top of the pump barbs down to just 1barb left then use the factory white push up piece on the neck and use 2 different O rings and it would seal. Think we also would slot the bolt on base part that holds the pump and cut the rubber bumper for the bottom in half. This way it still had that rubber buffer and we could also ensure good upward pressure on the o rings. Maybe we just got lucky never even knew this was a issue back then, we just on our own decided to do it that way.
