Just wondering if anyone has some pictures of where needs to be cut on the radiator support. I'm in the stages of mocking everything up and getting ready to bolt the Pipes up. Any pics of it installed without the bumper would make my life a lot easier :)
Thanks again. :coy:

There is a new version of the 2g kit that is supposed to be much easier to install. Did you get it in the latest group buy or pretty recent anyway?

Product Details:

Our new 2G short route kit has been modified quite a bit to aid installation. Here's the description of the revisions from the original thread:

"We'll give you guys the option to include a j-pipe (will clear stock fans) with the kit which will make installation a breeze & we've also made the intercooler inlet a bit shorter to avoid fitment issues with the oil filter housing. We've also scrapped the top bracket and we're going to have the current brackets predrilled to aid installation & we're slightly adjusting them so you can use the pre-drilled fog light bracket holes to mount the core without running out of room on the brackets. The upper pipe will be longer & the bov is also going to be pushed back a bit to help out the guys that are utilizing a recirculated bov.

Our new kit will be 100% easier to install in comparison to our original kit & the only thing it will share in common with the SSAUTO kit is the core dimensions. All the piping has been modified & installation will only require modifying the radiator core support and everything else will bolt right up without having to hack up or cut any of the piping."

The piping will come with a 1g bov flange which will be pre drilled for both the 1g bov & the Greddy BOV (new) & the new kit will include all neccessary mounting hardware (studs, spacers & bolts). Contrary to what everyone has assumed, this kit WILL work with the stock fogs as long as a custom fog light mount is utilized. You can checkout pictures of the original kit on our website and we'll get some new pics in a couple weeks of the entire kit :)

Yes I did get the newer version, but not threw the group buy or anything. A local had this kit brand new in packaging and I got it for a smashing deal. But yes it does have what the description above says.

yeah the latest version has been really easy to install even for me that my car is automatic :rocks: bolted right up on the upper outer fog light bracket hole. it even covered the whole opening without any gaps :hellyeah:, which alot of guys had issues with.

Oh and by the way guys i tried to fit the foglights on my car and the passanger side fits perfect but the driver side might require sum triming or just moving the fmic to the right by about a quarter of an inch. not much of a big deal..... give me sum time and i'll post sum pics of the fmic installed with the OEM fog lights :D :thumb:

Hey Doubleot did you get the FMIC kit that came with removable BOV flanges???? cus that is the one i got and should be their latest version, I think you got the one before their latest version.

Yes I did get the one with the removable bov flanges. My car is also auto so hopefully it's a synch after I cut the piece of the rad support.

Yeah it its man. I was surprised on how easy it was. you just have to bend the dipstick a little bit to the right. the easiest way to do it is to put a screwdriver in the hole and bend it about 30 degrees to the right...... and thats pretty much it.. hit me up if you need any more help. you can also go to autozone and buy a small universal coolant overflow tank. it fits on the stock location perfectly

That's tight man, thanks for all the tips, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting that over flow at vatozone later today, I'm going to try and cut the piece of the rad support now.

I've been having a couple of problems. First is the UICP cannot fit because of my ATF dipstick. I heard I had to unscrew it and rotate it but there is no screw or any way of getting it off that I can see.

Second is I had to remove my Auto tranny fluid cooler because the LICP wouldn't fit with the 2 Lines leading to it. Now I need to know where I can mount this safely. Here is a pic now correct me if I'm wrong about what this is.

Any help would be awesome. Also I was told I needed to remove my ac because of the 2 lines that sit in front of the Radiator, The core itself wont sit flat on the right side when mocked up causing a problem of the bolting. Here's a pic of what I am talking about.
