Do this cooling fan bypass and you'll be happy with the results. Do it cleanly and wrap it in wire loom so the wires have no chance of getting damaged. I think 97-99 bumpers may be a little more flimsy but if you eliminate the crash bar it will definitely help with cooling.

yeah i will try this method and hopefully i won't suffer from overheating. i've actually though of making sum custom ducting on the side of my bumper that has a cover and route it directly into my radiator. And maybe 2 openings above the intercooler. figured that might work.

now the only problem i see with making sum custom ducting around the vents on the bumper is that there isn't a big enough gap that would let me route a pipe directly to the radiator. maybe im just panicking too much about overheating LOL :banghead:

Contrary to popular belief, our kit doesn't utilize ANYTHING from the ssauto kit. We had a core made to our specs that has been proven to provide excellent cooling while maximizing flow to the radiator. To date after over 300+ kits sold I haven't had 1 complaint of a customers car overheating.

Kits are back in stock btw :)

I hope this holds true... i would hate to be the first one out 300+ ppl that have bought the kit and end up having cooling issues LOL. by the way my kit was suppose to arrive at my apt today, but i didn't receive it :idontknow: why but know on my fedex information it doesn't say the ETA anymore  :( only says the date it was suppose to be shipped out.... why do people compare the ssauto kit to yours?? is it only because they look alike or is it cus you guys are the same guys that created the ssauto kit????

Ive got the VR-speed fmic and the only times i have any kind of issue is when the weather is 90+ and im sitting in traffic.. Thats the only time when I get uncomfortable with the engine heat. And even then its only maybe just a bit over 200.. Like 205-210. Just crank the heater on and bake haha.
