I recently purchased the vr speed 2G FMIC kit Great product btw, as far as customer support they have been no where to be found. Has anyone had problems with the screw on bov flanges? This guy cross threaded mine so its not going on. Should I just have someone weld it on or whats my other options? Thanks any help would be nice

I bought this kit. I have nothing but rave reviews about their customer service. How are you trying to contact them? They sell new flanges for about $30 I believe, but if the threads are damaged on the intercooler piping then that doesn't help you. I would suggest just getting it welded.

Maybe they just been busy, I aimed them, called them, emailed them, even pmed the member on here ahaha But yeah my flange and the pipe threads are done I dont even think retapping them will help.. Do you know if they happen to sell the pipe and flange together? Not the whole piping kit for an extra 175. I was going to weld them but from my understanding I need to find a special place that welds aluminum

Tiago (aka Mangina aka VR-speed) is usually around to answer questions. Hopefully he'll chime in.

Yeah thanks you guys :thumb:

joyfil2001 I looked at your pics I'm assuming you have a overfill bottle somewhere or are you just letting the hoses drian it out the bottom of the opening?

I sent you a couple e-mails and responded to a few IM's but it seems we're playing tag :)

We can set you up with the individual pipe or you have the option of finding a local welder to weld the aluminum to the flange.

BTW our flange design has been tested to hold over 50psi :)
