I recently sent off a used center diff to be upgraded to a 4 spider unit. After pulling my trans apart to install the new center diff I noticed that the previous owner that welder the original center diff removed the VCU. I have a few extra 1g trannys laying around. Is the VCU out of a 1g trans the same as the 2g one? If not where can I purchase one for a 2g?

Did you guys even READ that thread?

He's comparing a 1g N/T VC to one from a 2g turbo car.

A simple check in ASA (CAPS) shows 1g and 2g AWD all use MD728248 as the V/C

To be honest, I skimmed it at best. Been watching the football. A little voice was whispering something about a difference in size making no sense, but then the Packers made another turn-over....
