i saw some other websites had it for like a buck cheaper but i trust jegs and it got here in 3 days.

Average price for VHT niteshades is like 11 dollars or something like that.

I had my Tail lights on my Talon tinted black for about a year. Never had any trouble with police or anything.

I know it say NITESHADES but do they have any other colors becuase I want to do my corner lights bit I have a white car.

Just curious why you masked the front bumper lights? They just pop out with a screwdriver. It seems like it would've been much easier to take them out.

back on the law with the lights,,,,if you read further into the law in most states it says unless OEM is dif from the law is the exception,...aftermarket doesnt count

has anyone seen smoked tail lights for sale anywhere? ive seen them a few times like ones that a few of you guys have painted, but do they actualy make them? theres a guy sellin a pair on ebay and im fairly sure they are just painted, there for i dont wanna pay 125 for stock tail lights, total rip. and for you guys that paint them what do you use? is it hard? spanks for any replies.

I too did this the other day.. but instead i went to a hobby store and bought "Tint Spray" used for spraying the plastic on model RC cars to tint the windows. same thing. here are some pictures of my car. I didn't really want to start a new post because.. same thing.. but yeah.. it's been done for about 2 weeks so far here in VA.. haven't gotten any tickets yet.. *knocks on wood*

Nopi.com used to sell them a year ago (last time I checked). You can buy black-outs which stick over your existing lights or you can get the spray to spray your tails black
FYI - The smoked lights or black-out lighst are not legal here in Florida (since they don't have the red reflectors like the stock/aftermarket lights have. You might want to check your state laws.

spoilers4less.com sells covers. I painted mine, using some japanese light tinting stuff from ebay. Came out perfectly. Glossy, and smooth. Smoother than any american spray can stuff I've ever seen. I'd say it's 90% as glossy as the factory paint. Check my gallery. Just use light coats, letting it dry in between each coats. And I do mean LIGHT coats.

The lights don't have to be red by sight. The only things that have to be red are the reflectors that are built in the lights.

IF you were to paint around the reflectors and have the rectangular red reflector uncovered and unpainted you would be legal. Same goes for the rear corner reflectors.

On the Lexus Suvs that don't have any red lights, you will notice a red reflector on each side of the bumper (as required by law). If you painted your lights all black and put a stick on red reflector, you would be legal, although it would look wierd. Still might want to check your state laws

Hey guys, i know this isnt original or anything but this was my first time trying this and im proud of it , so I thought id share.

My friend that also owns an Eclipse got some euros but tried to use some model car spray tint on the center piece and it didnt work out to well for him so he gave it to me so I though I would try and just paint is solid black to make it body color. I think I did ok for nver spray painting before. Ill also have pics of what the center piece looked like with the cheap spray tint, the paint i used, and after it is painted. Opinions?? Sorry for the crappy 2.3 mp camera
