Well I bought my DSM from Germany and it came with those. I have seen some other European DSMs with red EDM tail lights. I am not sure if they are legal or not, but they exist

anyway i send on future my dsm oversea just no like issue with registration again people in UE pay 10 time more for this cars just this car is no for sale

yeah mine are H7

facelift 2Gb has H7 and 2Ga has H4.

I think only 98-99 models have all red tail lights.

What do you have to pay for registering your car in Germany or Poland (I think you are from there)? Isn't it like 500 euro for everything?

i swap 2gb front on my dsm and on hedlights have E mark H7 (euro spec.)and US DOT HB3 (usa spec)for low beam.
register car in poland allmost 300 euro for everything just for shipping car oversea in container more expensive like $1100 (i pay last year).

God I love those taillights but there so expensive over here especially in Alaska.

So I' looking for the best and brighteset red LED bulbs for my all clear tails.
I just want to make sure I don't get the crappy ones.
Who has got a link with some good quality red leds?

I wanted to start a thread to see how many people are rocking the late 90's all clear tail lights!
Since they quit making them so long ago, because they aren't DOT approved.
I haven't even pulled my car out of the garage, since I got them.
I've got some RED LED's in them that are clear until they are powered up and a LED strip light in the center.
I will try and get some night time pictures of how it looks.(Awesome!)
I got mine from a great member on here, for a really good price!

I think they look great! I agree with painting the middle section. However, I would love to see the night pics with them lit up. I have a black 99 Eclipse and have a set of these lights sitting around.

Yeah don't paint the clear ones. They are too rare and old to be destroyed anymore. Just get real red bulbs and your fine. I used to have a set, sold them tho shouldn't have.

My GS has had them in since 2003. I even kept a backup set that were literally NEW until recently when another member contacted me about buying them.

...and mine DEFINITELY have D.O.T. molded into the plastic on the lens. I'm not sure if yours have this marking or not, but they are literally a clear version of the OEM taillights.
