so i put in my new mini rad tonight, installed my polished valve cover and my rebuilt throttle body with new tps (Properly adjusted) and my new BOV adaptor. took the car for a 15 minute ride and it felt so great was wicked excited. parked it came back out and went for another ride and it started cutting out and backfiring in gear. then it started stalling while driving so i would jus push the clutch in and out and it would restart. then it just died..... it will push start but wont fire off the starter... once its running i cant stop or it dies... wtf... everything is new on the motor except the cam angle sensor and the isc. also something i noticed.. the check engine light isnt coming on with the key only when the motor is running.... help me out guys if anyone is in my area and wants to help me out im a mechanic but ive got sooo much time and money into this thing i just get angry working on my own stuff... mustangs were so much easier..

well i know the MPI was trippy because the kid who had it before me ran it off a switch but it always worked fine i hear it clicking and the fuel pump and injectors all fire seems like no spark but idk.

can anyone give me the testing procedure on the CAS? and does anyone have an ISC they can part with CHEAP because i have like nothing left to out into this car...

You really ought to send your ECU in to be repaired by the professionals. Once the leaked electrolyte from the capacitors gets onto the board, it eats away at the copper traces and the damage often cannot be seen. Unless you strip off the conformal coating/humidity sealer and thoroughly inspect the PCB. Damaged traces can cause you electrical issues that can be difficult to diagnose.

All of the capacitors on your ECU look to be the original Rubycon capacitors and should be replace. Also it is difficult to say to what extent the damage has been done. The electrolyte leakage looks pretty widespread and there may be more that needs replacement or repair than meets the eye.
