Hey guys trying to tune idle and having some issues getting things right. I did alot of playing around and this is what I got going on.

built 6 bolt
Boost leak tested, only leak is on brand new greddy bov. Not much I can do about that. Also have a pte t3 turbo and during test air was going up turbo oil return and blowing some oil out of turbo. This turbo is almost brand new and has no shaft play. These turbos were not designed to operate with positive air pressure in oil return. So I take that with a grain of salt.

I have walboro 255
Aftermarker afpr
Fuel pressure is set
New front o2 and aem wide band in exhaust.

I am trying to run some free ised FIC 850cc injectors. These are the older ones with laser engraving.
I have tried setting up the global fuel setting at -47%. And 330 microsecond deadtime. I cannot get car to idle well.

if I change global/ deadtime I can get fuel ratio to 14.7. But cant get sd airflow per rev correct. It will hover about .12
Combinedft will be -5.7
Ve tried between 40-50 in sd table.
O2 sensor will not cycle, and car will not go into closed loop.
If i raise ve to 70-84 and adjust global and deadtime I can get sd airflow per rev to .22-.24. And get o2 sensor to cycle. And car will go into closed loop.
I also found some injvoltadj specs on ecmlink website for old fic850s. I tried this and didnt make much of a difference.
I feel like ve value is way too high. Also idle is set for 850 and with changes to ve table idles about 1200. Biss is good about 30-40. Learnedidleadj high 144 What do you guys think?

Post a log so we can take a look. You shouldn't really be changing your global for idle, cruise tuning. You should ideally have a very good idea of what injector info to input based on the injectors actual flow it (by sending them out to be cleaned and flow tested).

Also, it would not concern me that air is leaking through the turbo because some turbo seals are dynamic and don't seal on a BLT, but it would concern me that oil was leak through the turbo?

The injectors I have look like these, without the stickers. They have the same laser engravings. The specs I found online are attached. Im not sure if these are just an unknown variable and the settings is causing air to be under reported. I think I am going to put in stocks and see how the ve looks. I had stock injectors in before and it ran pretty good with stock tune, until ecmlink gm maf cabble died after 2 weeks and I swapped to speed density.

The turbo leakage occured when I pressurized intake elbow into engine. I capped off crankcase breather. This will put the crankcase in positive (13psi) pressure. And inlet to turbo was open. So I presume air will leak where it can. It was pushing oil up drain and into turbo. And low pressure at inlet made oil seep out. As you said its a dynamic seal and turbine should be spinning, not sitting with compressor wheel at atmospheric pressure with 13psi oil pressure at oil returb line. Almost like blowing into a water bong and getting soggy weed.

I will post a log when I get time, how should I post it? Take a screen shot? Or save the log and send it? Where should ve be at idle? Lastly with stock injectors and tune car ran with 15.6 fuel ratio, a tad lean.

Everything you need to know is right here.

Going to try find time this weekend. These injectors I inherited, so to alleviate any headaches I got a brand new set of PTE1200s on the way. I feel like these injectors are the unknown variable, and dont have any flow sheets/ not worth sending them out to get tested.

Hopefully they are High Z models. Those are a bit easier to transition from idle to WOT

Not sure if I'm posting the log correctly. I swapped in brand new PTE1200 injectors. Car refused to start, had to baby the throttle and play with global and dead time to get it to run. I found another user set these at -58%global and 390 dead time. I could not get the car to run like this. Had to set global at like -55 and dead time to like 600-700 micro seconds. I played with these to get air to 14.7 but then the car idled really rough and would eventually die. If I set the dead time really high it would idle like 1200+ rpm but it wouldn't die., but won't go into closed loop and runs lean.

Please let me know what you guys think.

Timing is 20deg at idle, the rest of table was reduced so I can tune. Should I swap the original timing map back in?
Tps volts- the tps sensor was zeroed out. It does go from 0%-100%. Before speed density had no problems going into idle and closed loop.
