After looking through my logs, I was wondering if there is any direct correlation between wideband factor and the amount a VE cell should be adjusted. For instance, at a certain point in the log, wideband factor is 8.5% and the tracked VE cell is 90. Is there a formula that would give me a number to increase or decrease the VE cell accordingly? Does this even sound reasonable or am I just an idiot?

Yes, wideband factor does play into adjusting your ve table. That is exactly how calans linktools works. Awesome program! If you don't want to download calans linktools, You can use this formula to know where to adjust your VE table to
(Current AFR) / (Desired AFR) x current VE at that rpm/boost point on your VE table.

so for example: at 15.461 seconds in your log the ecu is wanting to run 12.5:1 AFR according to your wideband you are running 14.2:1 AFR and the current VE cell being used at that point is at 91.5VE

So:14.2/12.5x91.5=103.944

Therefore you would adjust that particular cell to 104 or as close to 103.9 as you can get it and see where it gets you. Then you would move down the log until the next cell is used and so on and so forth.

That is a quote from another thread. It works, but is not as accurate as linktools.

Awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to explain it to me. Seems like i'm starting to get the hang of ecmlink.:rocks:
