We've got a '93 TSi AWD with 1,000cc PTE injectors, a 20g, HKS 272s and a few other things done. Our issue lies in the fueling. No matter what we do with 'link (V2), we cannot change the way the injectors are acting. The car runs around 11.8ish-12.6ish according to the AEM UEGO. No worries on the AEM; it should be getting replaced soon.
So far we have turned the fuel pressure at idle down to 37-38PSI. The setting in the ECU are as follows:
Global fuel -51.2%, global deadtime 450.
0 -10.2, 500 -15.6, 1000 -16.4, 1500 -10.2, 2000, 2500, 3000 are all at 0.0, 3500 +5.5, 4000 +7.0, 4500 +8.6.
We are unable to drive the car very far due to the hella' rich idle so we do not know how it behaves on the upper. We have mostly messed with the 0-1500 as it was giving us a high idle issue before.
Is there any sort of suggestion one can give us? Our next step is to look for a boost leak. We spent most of today sourcing and making a tester. Our main hardware stores were closed so we were stuck with Wally-World and a Fleet Supply. Of course I left my tester at school!
I'll get back with the results of the BLT and hopefully a log as well.
Thanks!
***Edit: Car is running on 91 octane.***
