Here's Tyler's very first pass on the new F3SA turbo (Force 3 Stock Appearing).

We built the charger, it's a 8cm tdo6 turbine, with a billet wheel similar to a 3076

Keep in mind the magic is not in the turbocharger....the car went 10.26 with an Evo III 16G.

From the description, the turbo they're using is quite similar to a FP 76HTA except it has a stock-appearing compressor cover to meet class requirements.

I understand that, but he also picked up 9 mph which is what intrique's me more. Pricing would be key as to if it is a good comparison to the HTA 71 or green HTA 73.
 
MPH gain is generally indicative of how well the engine is breathing as well as how well it's putting the airflow that the turbo is generating to use. I would attribute the MPH gain to the new engine build (lighter rotating assembly, higher compression ratio) and the larger turbine wheel used in the turbo.
 
The car makes over a 100 more whp now than it did. It will definitely go faster and quicker.

The turbo is pretty cool, it just keeps making more power with boost. On a 50psi spike it made 525whp...
 
Fwiw, on the record pass the combo was 11.5:1. Now it's 11.2:1.. The rotating assembly is a bit lighter, and I built a Windage tray. I'd give maybe 5whp to the weight of the assembly, and another 10 to the windage tray.. The rest is the charger. I actually made the same peak torque on the 16g combo and at only 4 psi more boost. This one just carries the boost till 8k+ where the 16g was dead at 6500.

We are running the turbo at 40psi. The spike to 50 was in early tuning before we adjusted the wastegate.

We want to make sure this thing is going to be reliable at this boost level before we start pushing it harder.

I don't have it spiking now, it did at first when i was having control issues.. I can't get more up top, but i can get more at the hit, but it'll only help the 60ft and in the 16g car it was hard to control wheel spin
