More fuel equals more exhaust equals more force on the turbine.

Im surprised how you dont know the basics of turbocharging.

Alright guys, lets not stoop to personal attacks; just the facts please.

You're correct, turbo spool time is proportional to exhaust volume per unit of time. However, the only way to increase that exhaust volume is to either increase the number of engine cycles (RPM) or increase cylinder displacement.

Dumping more fuel into the mix won't cause the turbo to spool any quicker.

Lets keep this thread on topic from now on...

So let's all run 1000cc injectors with 9:1 AFR's so we can spool our beastly GT35R's to 30 psi at 2500 rpms.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

Hmmm... Should I bring up the missing link or no? haha.

HPfreak, I'm worried about the manifold you bought. You said it was for the 4G63 but the 420a also. If you can, post a pic or link to it. The 4G63's do not fit our 420a manifold.
He never said it was for the 4g63t, he said it was "similar to the obx for the 4g63 but its for the 420a motor" Sorry I'm nitpicking......;)

wow...that's all I can say to this thread

This guy sure is lucky e-thug X-Masta was playin with his kids last night instead of reading this :toobad: There is a nice group of us that post regularly in the 420a forum (dsmcrazy, velocitapaola, myself, dr1665 etc) that know what we're talking about, and the occasional 4g63 helper...please take our knowledge to heart and don't just listen to every random post made on here. Good luck with your turbo endeavor...we are here for you :thumb:

Thanks for including me in the group of people who are smart. Despite always being picked last for dodgeball, it's nice to be recognized as not being a retard.

Here is a great site that explains what the different measurements and numbers or a turbo mean and how they affect the turbo. http://turbominivan.com/ Click on Turbo 102 on the side menu.

Awww the E-Thug hates me

Sure, John.

Basically, someone posted a question, the answer to which they could have found by using Google or our search utility. This was met by posters who didn't fully grasp what the original poster was looking to know and, as such, offered commentary which sparked controversy and moderate pissing matches erupted as a result. In the end, a wise soul visited the thread from on high, offered up the correct answer to the original question and, while some pissing still remained, much of the drama subsided, leaving the majority of us in a sort of giddy, goofy mood. We simply caved into the moment.

Allow me to assure you that, aside from any other threads where I might be taking part in sophomoric joccularity, I will abstain from such sophomoric joccularity.

I think this thread can remain open. (Also, don't look at the street legal 200whp NA thread. If you didn't like this one, you won't like that one either. I would chalk it up to allowing us to let off some steam once in a while. You know I'm all about keeping the threads on topic up in here.)

Now, come over and help me install my 4G63 tomorrow night. :sneaky:

Ok well if you're ok with it being open than I will allow it to stay that way.

That's right folks, I'll take all the blame for this one...

I just get so angry sometimes, that my alter ego can't help but get a lil rowdy...so do us all a favor, stop posting random nonsense, keep it technical, and for the love of god just.....

Okay. Ending all the non-technical, off-topic BS now. Everyone let this goofball stuff drop, please. Thank you.

PS - Xavier, you can edit your posts. No need to double post within ten minutes, bro.

yeah...but if I edited, then my actual technical information would have come before the pic. By posting it after, I marked the end of the off-topic nonsense :dsm:
