I was moving my stock turbo and housing to my new motor and this is how the exhaust housing looks

Is this ok or do I need to find another.

Also is it possible to swap this myself or is there anything more involved than dissembling and reassembling the new one. IS there any alignment or anything else to be concerned with when doing the swap?

And last where can I buy just the exhaust housing?

The hot side is held to your turbo with a large clamp that clamps the turbo and the hot side together. Other than the bolts for the exhaust, you should be able to pop yours out and into another, good unit.

I did the same thing to my 14b because it was really bad cracked also. It was very simple process just like @1990TSIAWDTALON mentioned above. And i believe it made the 14b a little happier. Good luck!

I'm also running an eBay turbine housing, ported way to much for my 14b, but it's worked good and hasn't cracked.

I'll second porting the wastegate hole as much as possible.

Inspect the bolt holes when it comes. A couple of us had bad luck with the Ebay turbine housings. I would have suggested turrbolab instead of Ebay, but if the bolt holes are correct you should have no issues.
Edit. This housing uses a cotter pin on the wg. I cant remember if the stock one uses a c clamp or cotter pin.

It’s from turbo lab. Pic is from the description from the link I posted above. I do however understand about eBay (well Chinabay) parts not fitting correct due to casting errors.
