Anyone have any experience with using Amsoil in the transfer case? My understanding is that fills are a real pain so I'm hoping to try one that has a squeeze packet so I can just shove it in there.

Alternatively, does anyone have any suggestions on any devices that I could pour T-case fluid in to so I can then force it in to the transfer case?

I use my air compressor to assist. I built a setup with a piece of tube and a fitting shoved into a gear oil jug. Just a simple tube showed through the nipple to the bottom of the jug then pressurize the jug with a few psi with a regulated air source. I've discarded that now and use a modified Motive power bleeder and I put a Schrader valve on it. I use it for trans too. I can put the entire trans full in the container and fill it all at once. I know the amsoil bags you speak of. They will help but it still doesn't look convenient to me. I've been doing the jug thing about 20 years.

I think a fluid transfer pump will make your life easier. I plan on using one when I'm filling mine after install.
The only thing is some of these are lubbed on the inside of the piston and I don't know how that would interact with the fluid so I'd clean it out completely and just allow the fluid to be the lube.

Alternatively, go to the parts store and just grab a bag of Valvoline fluid. Either use it, or dump it, and just keep the bag. I used some valvoline gear oil to double check if the noise in my trans would go away, and kept the bag. It's easy AF to refill with a funnel(kitchen/food style) with any fluid I want, and makes filling the t-case, rear diff, and trans easy as pie. Infinitely reuseable and I don't need to keep pumping. Nothing in the driveline takes more than a couple quarts so you'll have to refill it once for the transmission, and nunce for the t-case and rear diff.

I'd say grab the AMSoil and keep the bag for future use. I'm personally going with redline lightweight shockproof in my tcase and rear diff.

I just did all my fluids, and I ordered a suction/transfer pump. It worked great, even with the thick redline heavy shockproof. Here's a picture of one similar to what I used.
