So had the OEM TOB for around 5k miles and for some reason my paddle vibratied while pushing it in and now hearing a weird metal to metal sound. Went in with camera and it looks like the inner Shell of the bearing have up. Whats you guys opinion?

Voice is Dutch so please ignore.

The video of it happening. Had hard vibration in pedal but now nothing. Just a grinding noise when pressing it in.

Ignore the music 🫠

Does it still shift?

When pressing the clutch it does still shift. Will check these days of the grinding noise is from the TOB or other component.

If it is the clutch in would be quite dissapointed in the friends over at SBC as this is the 2nd time in a year

Again, if your hydraulics do not self adjust, everything in your clutch system is taking a beating constantly. If you find that to be the case you need to fix it or it will happen again.

Noticed that clutch when not pressed it slowing pushing the TOB to the PP and staying there, but I can push the fork towards the engine without a lot of power.

All clutch components were brand new (master cyl, slave cyl, flywheel, SBC disk and PP, forged fork, new OEM TOB) and now maybe have around 5k miles

Show us a picture of where the throwout bearing fork sits in the window of the transmission. It will help us help you.

So update, Just went to the car to check everything. This is what i saw and felt.

Car start like normal and idled perfectly.

Looked at the TOB with the camera and noticed a couple strange things. When the clutch is released, the TOB is slightly riding on the PP fingers. With a slight push back on the fork it stops. (Pinky strength is enough) Meaning the TOB has been riding the PP for over 7K miles.

I can almost certainly say it is the TOB or at least clutch related, because when pressing the fork against te PP with the car idling, it start to vibrate slighty. Could also mean that the Flywheel is not on right (not using the dowel pin as it never came with the car) or something is warped.

I need some advice: running the car at 0.8 bar or 1.2 bar of boost as its still my daily. I wanna know, should i change the TOB and PP to make sure those are good. As the plate is not even 3k miles old, and there is no way to change my flywheel. Or should only TOB be enough with a good check if all other components still good.

The plate fingers are what you need to look at if thinking of replacing it. If they are ok, the TOB has been spinning for all of those miles so replace it with an OEM unit. Does the clutch grab and release ok?

So, reviving the thread as i am Currently working on it. I made a vid of the fork placement when everything was still on. It seems to me like the slave keep slightly pushing it against the pp instead of releasing it so it doesn't touch at all
