I noticed a strange rattle present in neutral and while in gear. The rattle went away whenever the clutch was engaged. I assumed it was the TOB and I proceeded to pull my transmission. I noticed I had an aftermarket metal sleeved TOB that was installed by a local shop when I had them install my clutch disc. This is why you install OE parts only... My question is, what are my options to repair this wear mark? The transmission is still in good shape and I would hate to scrap it because of this.

1.Weld it "fill it in" and grind it down smooth. 2. Cut it off and weld another sleeve on.

3. Best choice call Jon at team rip early in the morning call 4 or 5 times. Tell him to take a look at the pics if it can be fixed he can tell you how to do it.

hope this helps
