Hello everyone, I just pulled my motor yesterday. I will have to redo my timing after all the work I plan to do on the car. I have read up on all the timing belt change tutorials and tips previously. I also had to redo my timing last year due to an out of phase oil pump from the previous owner. What do you guys think about the pictures enclosed? Was my timing dead on? I know that all the timing marks have to line up in a straight line along with the top of the head. Looking at my timing marks it looks to me as if the white marks are exactly lined up to the head. However the 9 o'clock mark on exhaust side and 3 o'clock mark on intake side is above the head line. To me it looks as if I am one tooth off on both cams. What does everyone think? Please look at all the pics enclosed and let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

Wish me luck, it's my first time doing all of this
Know how that goes...I've done DOHC belts before, but doing one with that autoaduster thingey was the first for me plus the total pits to get things right - in which I didn't get mine right the first time either until I got those measurements correct and everything fell into place as they belong.

Doing a T-belt in my daughter's 4G37 was nothing compared to this 4G63 stuff. Trick is to take your time and be slow at it..

Good luck- DSM
