hey guy starting on my project of re timing a motor the PO couldnt get timed ( 95 gst )
i striped the timing belt off and am starting from the basics ( the car was sitting for over a year and a half ) --
my question is should the oil pump be really hard to turn? i was under the impression that it should spin pretty freely and not be hard enough to turn that i have to put a ratchet on it and put some good force behind it to spin it
do i have a problem here or is this normal?
thanks in advance
