I haven't but one of my friend's from work has ordered something like 20 motors from them. I know they have amazingly low mileage on them and 99% of them are in pristine condition.

He bought a lot of B16s and B18s for customers at his friend's shop as well. I never asked about those. I've just seen the motors he has bought from there.

He bought a K20 that only had 950 miles on it before the owner wrecked the car and the motor was pulled.

It just depends but sometimes if you can get them to respond to emails they will give you more information about the motor and how it fell into their hands.

Tiger Japanese Auto Parts LTD - Mitsubishi

My question is has anyone ever gone through this company before I was looking into a new 7 bolt looks like 1100 shipped is this a good price or is it more cost effective to rebuilt with performance parts.

Which would you rather have, an imported junk yard motor or a new motor rebuilt with performance parts?

What proof do they have that the engine only has 950 miles on it.

I honestly don't know what they did to prove it. But after him taking it apart it was pretty damn obvious the motor had to have very few miles on it.

He might be stupid enough to buy motors online for nearly the same amount as a built one, but he is at least smart enough to replace the gaskets on a used motor.

Anyway, I'd recommend a built motor if you are willing to pay those prices.

Also keep in mind when you are doing online shopping just because one person has great success with something does not mean you will. After looking at those reports I probably wouldn't use them. But then again some of them kind of sounds like a idiots that didn't read everything all the way through and are trying to pass off blame on someone else.

Also LOL at the guy who bought the JDM motor/tranny thinking it was the exact same as his USDM car and blamed the company for saying it was the same year.

ive been running one for 3 years ish, i pick up a 92 gsx for cheap, bad engine bad trans, so i put the jdm engine and trans in. the only bad for me was my came with a oil cooler and the 92 of course didnt have one stock. the trans was a gvr4. and im even one the same timimg belt, water pump and what not, it runs strong, and i got the set for cheap $1400, they will price match so look around you can fine some cheaper

good luck

They have a bad reputation, very well known bad rep. Personally be the last place I would ever buy a motor from. Been there before and only place you will see motors sitting on their valve covers:confused:good for cores
