You're an idiot. Grow up and realize that any car with 225,000 miles on it is going to blow at some point.

You can't jump in any car and expect it to be reliable for over 200,000. You must be crazy. And what does the site have to do with it? We didn't cause it to fail. LOL.

thats the world of the DSMer, oh yeah it helps to do a tune up once in awhile like every 40000 miles, which includes a new timing belt. Sorry man for your loss.

You know the timing belt is going to blow, and the car is probably due for one, and you complain about it blowing. Are you a fuc$$ing retard? The car has 225,000 miles. Thats a lot, esp for someone who doesn't take car of it. Don't come on here complain that these cars suck when you don't know how to take care of your car.

Cry about it.

Any car on the road will blow up with ignorance to maintenance. They are all operator (thats you) error.

You should get your homework done. You have to get up for high school tomorrow morning. :thumb:

Cry baby. Learn to do routine maintenance. I'm sure you drove the crap out of that car, too. People who are oblivious to the needs of their ride combined with high miles and a lead foot = disaster.

+1 to everything said. you're lucky it lasted that long, especally if you wern't putting a new timing belt on at least every 60 thousand miles.. Too bad it wasn't AWD or i'd come buy your POS from you and make a nice ride out of it, but i already have a fwd.

Did you hurt anything else? Or only the timing belt snapped? If you caught it in time, it wouldn't be that bad.

When was the last time you replaced the timing belt?

Just remember, any car with high mileage is going to have problems at one point or another.

At worst your looking at a replacement head, come on already. A weekend worth of work and your back in action. Come back and complain when your tranny grenades on you 3 times.

Excellent reason to build a stroker in my opinion. I've been secretly hoping my motor will let go so I have justification to do a 2.3Liter stroker build. Damned motor just won't give up ROFL
