terrible time on AWD Turbo

Your 60ft times are not just bad they are pathetic. My v8 cars on street tires can beat yours easily. Is your car an awd or what? I would look hard at the clutch. Its likely very worn out and slipping terribly. If you have a worn out clutch you can't get good 60fts. Get a nice new act 2600 in there right now!

And whats with 13psi. You have fuel pump get that up there to like 15/16 ish.
And if you have no boost leaks not too much reason you should be so slow. And some 1g cars have terrible phantom knock. Get a scanner like 1g scanmaster or get a cable and little pda or laptop and start scanning that car. I am betting if you are like most I have had you have phantom knock. There are a few things to try if you have phantom but unfortuantely its hit and miss someitmes if it works. the 3g lifters do sometimes solve the problem. I solved it on my 92 talon only when added a ecu with chip that had phantom knock elimination code. Car ran 1000% better after that. I have dsmlink which is also a great program for scanning and tuning. And it can elminate phantom knock and give you things like a two step for launching,no lift to shift, etc. Highly worth the money for the dsmlink. It can tune fuel ,spark, everything.

Also if you can get ahold of some race gas you should be able to run higher boost still at the track. Maybe 20psi .But get scanning happnening and yeah some 550 or 650 injectrors can't hurt either. Go bigger if you are planning on turbo upgrade. Oh other thing. Many 14g turbos don't get up that high in boost or hold boost due to cracks and age. A newer turbo might really pick you up,the evo big 16 g is a great mod.

So I got new times on my car.

I ran this time a 14.359s @ 97mph
My 60' time was 1.944s (I thinks this is really good for my car, seen a lot time slips on this forum with way better cars than mine pulling 2.2s ish.)

I got a good way to lauch my car now, I do not hold my my rev at a certain rpm, I keep reveing the car so my turbo can get full, and when the last yellow light goes on, I just floor it and go (R/T .074s).

About my boost, I can't go more than 15psi for a few reasons. My stock intercooler won't hold, Stock ECU cuts fuel when you pass 15psi of boost (heappened to me when I started this post). So my turbo will peak at 15psi and hold at 13psi.

My car is tuned already with a brand new knock sensor on it too.

This time the only thing I did was add a little of Lucas Oil octane booster.

I hope to be on the right track now with my car.

i would turn up the boost but get a safc or something like that and get it tuned.. tuning is everything!! then turn up the boost and launch hard.. should run low 13's and take the 18's off.. there is just not enough flex in those tires.. they will just spin awd or not..

225 50 16 tires thumbs up... wide and flex enough with psi at about 22-25...

Im installing my new FMIC on this weekend. I can't buy the AFC now because I need to save money to rebuilt my tranny, its going bad already. The reason im runing with 18" wheel is because they are the only ones I got, I dont have 1000 for a new set os rims and tires (and I bought the 18" few months ago.. I lose a little performance, but they look good :D). When I launched really hard my 4 wheels spin just a little, but it wasn't something major, it has some good grip.

You need 1k to buy rims and tires.
I would get the afc first, than your fmi. Tuning is the key and it will be a better choice of purchase than a fmi. If your stock sidemount is heat soaking, remove it and clean it with gasoline. Very simple, and while your down their replace those silly hose clamps with some t clamps. Running high 14's is not cool, man. Didn't the stock awd ran low 14's off the dealer? You need get your car tune bro.

That's because they are FWD slips you are looking at on here most likely.

Stockish or moderately modified (typical 16g setup, ect) AWDs with street tire setups should be around 1.7-1.9 from what I have seen.

There is a 10page sticky thread about how to launch your car man. The way your doing it does not make sence to me. Reving the car until you see boost??

Hey, it worked really good.
Just holding my RPM I was getting 60' time at 2.2s
