If your clutch is worn and a weakpoint for slipping your not likely to break anything. When i had my 91 Eclipse GSX years ago i destroyed a transfer case at the track. It was a High 13sec car with a new stage 3 clutch installed. During my 7000 RPM launch i went from 4 tires mildly spinning to just the fronts melting off! This was expensive and stupid on my part. Just wanted to remind everyone it CAN happen.....
The dealer laughed my warranty away as they "fished out" chunks of metal from my all wheel drive:)
