TD05H carnage.... eating a coupler aftermath!

Ok so I was tuning my speed density so I had my friends stock MAF on and the stock reducer for the T25 got eaten by my turbo. (I was using the T25 intake on a 16g) Dumb mistake fix time now!

I ordered a new balanced compressor wheel and was curious if the turbine wheel is reusable? It has 3 fins with chips on them. Seems like it would be a bit off balance with these missing.

I got a friend with an extra TD05H 16g turbine wheel he will sell me for 40 bux.

I hear that Mitsubishi turbine parts are component balanced so would I be able to throw the new compressor wheel on the turbine wheel and call it a day? Or is a balance required?

the turbo has maybe 10,000 on a recent rebuild so no leaks or much shaft play even after this incident. So im only looking to replace the wheels

The T25 won't accept a MHI turbine housing.

Now may be time to setup up to a 14b unless you're trying to race in a certain autox class.

sorry for the confusion its a 16g turbo... I used my friends intake he had on his T25.. The couple inside his intake was eaten by my 16g

Lol. I just did the same thing. I found a used mhi Evo that I'm waiting in now. Exact same thing. Hope you can get it fixed and up again soon. Good luck!

alright so the compressor wheel is on the way and Im going to either get a TD05H turbine wheel from Justin or a buddy back home... Correct me if Im wrong, but all 14bs, 16gs and everything with TD05H on it has the EXACT same turbine wheel? My buddy has a turbine wheel from a 14b and Im mating it to a 18g compressor wheel! My compressor housing is already machined to accept it and it was 70 bux shipped for a brand new compressor wheel that was already balanced.
