eBay Motors: PROTHANE MOTOR MOUNT INSERTS ECLIPSE DSM 4G63 95-99 RED (item 180296752001 end time Jan-03-09 16:38:46 PST)

anyway many thanks and happy new year and any thanks in advance for the help

The mounts in the link are for a manual. Actually, all the mounts I've seen for sale are just for manual transmissions, I haven't seen any that will work with an auto.

I found this in the tech article section, hopefully it will help you out.

hey thanks im not after a cheap set as i dont trust them ill just have to leave the transmittion one out then and hopefully it will be ok. these are real ones im guessing as every other ones ive seen from polythene are exactly the same that was my main concern that there real and was worried about transmittion LOL damn ohwell thanks

i used the Home depot version on my car and never had a problem with ti... i would this it would be better than having a beat up motor mount

I have a 1g a/t and the mounts fit, i just left the ring in the mount and just took out rubber for front and back mount! Im not sure if this will work for 2g? You also could stiffen up your current mounts with windo-weld like someone said

well im going to try and see what fits first then see if anyother evo mounts will fit if not im just going to leave it as its not a problem ill just change them again when i get more parts added.

also im wondering and just guessing here that these just sit on the outside of the mount as it says insert? but does any company make the whole mount i:e the main section in prothane form or upgraded rubber? as my passenger rubber is a (very little) bit <tiny> tear in it!

thanks again

I have the prothane mounts for my car just keep in mind that your car will be quite loud after the installation.

Not sure about the upgraded rubber, but you can get oem mount from the dealership or a local parts store.
