Motor Mount help?

I have a 95 tsi fwd and my mount broke the one towards the back that connects to the transmission.

My question is...
Will a mount off a 96-99 eclipse with a 420a engine fit my turbo one?

I'm thinking about changing all 4


And will I have to drop the tranny or engine to replace them? What about if i try changing one at a time?



I don't have a hoist to raise the tranny or engine that's why I'm asking.

No it will not, they are completely different engines and have different mounting locations

Good idea, depending on the condition of the other 3, if you can afford it I definitely would.

The only one that would be difficult to get to is the rear, many put this mount in when the motor is out. I know you can drop the subframe to get to it, but thats a bit of work. I am sure there are people who have gotten it in without removing anything, but had a lift.

i bought my 96' knowing that all four mounts needed to be replace and i didn't have an engine hoist...just two 1 ton jacks and a lot of patience....i replaced mine two at a time....front and passenger side, then bottom behind the tranny and driver's side...all with poly's too....just takes some time....pm if you think you still want try, i will break it down for you....
