motor mount help

My driver side motor mount has a stripped stud on the top of the two. The bolt twists and twists but never backs off. I've tried for about 15mins to back it off then tried to use a nut splitter an couldn't get in. I don't care if it causes the mount to be damaged I have drop engineering mounts to replace them with. Any ideas on how to get it off?

I don't have access to my oxygen acetylene torch where the car is, other wise I would. Any ideas that can be done with out special tool. Or anything

Pry upward on it with a pry bar, while trying to loosen it

Make friends with someone who owns a plasma cutter or oxy torch. A cut-off wheel will probably work as well, but it will be time consuming and tedious.

I would just cut it off, with a cutter, shouldnt be too bad.

I agree with keithson30 to put pressure on the nut while turning it loose, that usually works, though using heat is never a bad idea either. If you still have trouble removing it, get the cutting wheel out and go to town. You have new mounts anyways. Just don't cut into the metal where the bolt goes through. Have fun
