t3t4 on 16g

So i have a t3t4 manifold looks like this one

Hooked up to a tial external wastegate.

So i was wondering if i can hook up a E316g to it?

Would this adapter flange solve this problem?

A 16g will not bolt up to that manifold and that is not the correct adapter either.

Why not get a manifold that will allow the turbo to bolt right on instead of hacking it together with adapters that will leak 100% of the time?

You can get an o2 housing that will allow you to run an external gate

There are plates out there for making custom manifolds, best way to do it might be to cut that flange off and weld the one you need on. I remember seeing one a while back just cant remember where i found it.

Why not just grow a set and do a T4 turbo setup?

the ebay flanges are never right bolt holes dont usually line up or dont seal right like justin said and you end up having to use a file and smooth it out which takes hours and sometimes that dont even work i agree with what Beeracer and bud92 said

For the record, there are externally-gated manifolds available with OEM fitment, and they're cast for better durability than anything tubular.
