sup guys, When I bought my gst I had no clue on what kind of turbos there were. So a few months later I found out I have a "CXR" turbo which is an ebay turbo. Now, on the turbo housing it says its T3/T4. Does this mean that I can only use a T3/T4 turbo or can I buy a good company T3 OR a T4 turbo? I know that T3 is smaller than a T4 but the turbo says "T3/T4" I also have a tubular exhaust manifold. If This turbo was to go bad on me, which turbo can I use with the manifold I have on here? Is the manifold also to a specific T3/T4 turbo? Thanks in advance!

Heres are a few pics:

Turbos with a T3 flange on the turbine housing inlet, not specifically a T3 turbo.

Various turbine housing configurations have different inlet flanges to fit specific applications. For instance, some Greddy / Mitsu 18G's have a Garrett T2 inlet flange on the turbine housing....some have a T3 flange, and some others have a flange to fit our OEM exhaust manifold.

...and Bud, the O.P. is already fully aware he has a CX Racing junker. Did you read the first post at all, or just look at the photos? :p

Umm Justin. Why didn't you mention that is probably an ebay turbo.Looks ebay to me, but I'm not the turbo expert here.
