T3/T4 Turbo Question

Well my friend here bought a t3/t4 .48/.60 i believe he said it was. Now i dont know a huge ton about turbos either so i could be mistaken with what he said. Ok well the question i have is im about to buy that turbo for a great deal and i wanna put it on my car right now not for a huge power increase but to get that outta the way. I know i first need a new o2 sensor housing, a new exhaust mani, and a new waste gate. I have a 3" downpipe going on before i consider putting this on. Now with this bigger turbo should i put my new FMIC on? Can i not put this thing on w/o tuning? Or is it safe to do this w/o tuning but run it at a lower PSI. I'm still using that side mount IC so my guess is it wouldnt be good to still use that thing with quite a larger turbo than the t25.

If anyone knows if i can just throw this thing on w/o having to get new injectors / fuel pump / tuning or other types of things if you could let me know thatd be great.

Cause if i cant put it on then no problem either i can wait a month.

If upgrading the turbo upgrade the fuel at the same time or before. A thread about this is seen here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227346 just a week ago. Next tuning should be done when changing your setup , even more so with a turbo upgrade since there will a dramtic increase in airflow. I recommend following the upgrade path, These were developed to ensure you have replaced the parts in a certian order that will yeild the most power as well as being the safest route to go. IE fuel before upgraded turbo ect.

IE dont just go throw parts at the car. Research and make sure you know what your getting yourself into. Its sad to see a built engine with a 60-1 run the same or slower time than my stock engine T28 equipped DSM.
