I am still looking for a turbo. I got screwed over on another deal so I think that I will have to get another one. I can pick up a T3/T4 for $200 from a friend of mine. Here are the questions.

1. I just got a new Evo3 manifold because my old one had the crap cracked out of it. Can I get some sort of adapter so that the turbo will be able to bolt on to the manifold?

2. If I put a 255 pump in the car with the turbo can I hold off on other mods while I save up for them?

3. Is it really necessary to get a FMIC to go with it?

4. will the stock O2 housing fit on it.

5. will a rnr racing turbo O2 elimanitor back fit on the turbo

6. I just need to know if this will work in my car untill I can get the Supporting Mods.

O ya, here are my mods:

Cut BOV tube, Big fat conic filter, Evo3 Manifold(Ported),

You should probably find out more information on this T3/T4, since there's there's a lot of turbos you can call a "T3/T4".

1. Don't know for sure
2. Depending on the size of this turbo you could get away with either just a rewire, or if it's of any real size you'll need the pump and a rewire.
3. If you really want to tap into the turbo's potential you'll need one.
4. See 1

6. If this is really a good deal you'll probably end up buying it then storing it for a while, since you're lacking almost all of the most basic supporting mods (UICP/BOV, piping, boost gauge, all fuel mods, etc). Assuming you do buy it and bolt it on you'll be running at such low boost I think it wouldn't be worth it really. Sure it gives you room to grow..but you wont be having any fun while doing it :p

Umm.....

That won't be a problem.

You see.... My car has been sitting in the garage for three week while I have been waiting for a turbo to put in it.

I will try and find out more about this turbo soon.

What I meant by that is that until you have enough supporting mods (and thus can run more boost) You'll have a high(er) spooling turbo making as much, maybe a bit more hp than the T25.

I'm not trying to talk you out of this, since for 200 dollars I'd probably jump on it too if it's a decent turbo LOL.

Soon i will be in sort of the same situation. I am going to properlly mod my car first tho i.e fuel pump, injectors tunings etc. My goal is a fast reliable street car. But i dont want to settle for a 16g or any other mitsu turbo, ive had my eyes set on the 50 trim for a long time and here nothing but good about it on the street. Should i go with internal gate or external, also im going to have a 3 inch turbo back o2 elim from rnr and will the turbo bolt up to this? Also while im waiting should i buy intercooler piping for the side mount or just wait until i get the fmic? Sorry for the taking over the thread :thumb:
Thanks in advance.
Matt

good luck on finding them adapter plates for a t3/4....they usually don't sell them, unless you buy the whole kit....otherwise, you're gonna end up forking more $$$$ for a new manifold....if you're looking for a 50-trim of some sort, go with a FP-GREEN....

Yea right ive been researching the green lately and looks like a crazy fast street turbo. Plus i would like to go internally gated to fit my budget, so when the time comes i think i might go with the green. Thanks for the advice.

Hahn racecraft has the adaptor plates and sells them seperatly. I bought one and they are rediculously overpriced. If you have any fabricating skills it wouold be very easy to make one.

1. That depends on which t3/t4 you have. A PTE is a direct bolt on. Need pics to be sure. If your sure you need an adapter plate, hahn racecraft should be able to take care of you.

2. Yes, but only a logger can tell you how far you can push the turbo. Stock fuel system, stock intake and exhaust system, stock intercooler. These will definately limit how far you can push the turbo. I would guess 10lbs max to be on the safe side. Refer to the tuning guide. I hope you have a boost gauge also. If not, get one.

3. Yes. You will heatsoak without one.

4. Refer to #1

5. Refer to #1

6. Make sure you get an install kit.

A t3/t4 for $200?? Seems pretty cheap to me even for being used. Watch yourself. I cant see a t3/t4 for $200 being in the best of shape. I could be wrong beings hes your friend :talon:
