t3/t4 question

a friend of mine wants to sell his turbo for 100 bucks, its a t3/t4, has no shaft play that i can feel or see, my stock 14b has some shaft play and it smokes, i dont know anything about the t3/t4 turbos, any input would be great, o and the turbo has 8000 miles on it and he is selling it because he is upgrading to a larger turbo, and one more thing, it is flanged for a 2g, will it bolt up 2 my 1g?

cmon this is dsmtuners i know some 1 on this sight knows something about the t3/t4

a 2g and a 1g has the same bolt pattern.

the t3 and the t4 are two differant flange styles from what i have picked up and i think that is the only differance, maybe they have differant turbine wheel options.

you also might want to know that the compressor wheel is to decide if its worth buying.

sounds to me like he is trying to pass off a garret t-25 or something for that price.
