Hi,

I am looking at a turbo kit with the T3 super 60 turbo. What kind of turbo is this? With what can you compare this?
They have it listed as a T3 Garrett/Turbonetics Turbocharger
60 trim T3 Turbonetics compressor housing 3" inlet 2" outlet,
.48 stage 1 Turbine housing, perfect for spool up and top end power
They claim it can make 400+ whp.

I am looking at something that makes around that much HP and it is just temporary to replace my big T28. Untill I am ready to swap my 2G for the 4G64 I am building. After the swap I am looking into getting a GT35R or a T60-1.

Thanks,

Sven

no one has really answered my thread- so I'll say what I know- I wouldn't run a .48 A/R T3 Super 60 for any amount of money- that turbo needs a larger A/R turbine housing- I'd run a .63
also there are several different turbine wheels availible- the stage III is what most T3/T4 guys run.

The Super 60 is rated for enough flow, and judging by the maps in my other thread- it should do BIG16G levels at least.
