Hi. Doing a engine swap in my eclipse 2g after crank walk in my old. My old 7bolt was stock with a T25. The new engine has a xspower TD05H. whitch turbo is to prefer?

If the TD05H is to prefer it has a upper outlet so it does not fit to my intercooling piping, so where could i get pipes to the intercooler (SMIC) so it will fit?

TD05h? Is that from a evo or what?

I hope you can help me here, i need the car on the road fast..

well if its a big 16g td05 then its from an evo 3, as for the xpower, idk what that means .. it could have a different inducer or exducer, id call with the serial number. i love my 16g great mid range power, anythings better than a t25

Is the xs power on the picture as big as a 16g?

What do you mean? Is the XS a 14b? Or should i get a MHI? I have to go for one of the two turbos. The t25 or the Xs td05h? So whats it gonna be people?
Dont have money for a new one and the car is in the workshop as we speak so it cant wait.

The xspower turbo is a knock-off of an MHI 16g turbo. I wouldn't even bother with it. If you can't afford another turbo then go with the t-25 for now (unless it has a lot of shaftplay). And to answer your question; you need a j pipe if you wish to install the "16g". This is required for any MHI turbo install on a 2g such as a 14b or 16g.

Thanx a lot man! That was what im looking for..

T25 has about 120000miles and the Xs only a couple of k..

If i go for a 16g can i run with the stock Smic until i save up money for a Fmic?

This turbo is shit I put one in my buddies Talon and hadnt put 500 miles on it and the oil housing inside the turbo cracked I would stick with the t25 unless you have money to buy the real e316g or a 14b. You need a j pipe for both of those though>

I've seen a couple friend have ebay turbos that are still working good over a year later and other that lasted only a couple of months. Seems like it is real hit and miss. If on a budget look for a 14b they can be had for around 100 and I got my mhi big 16g for 150 and that was with a brand new j-pipe so good deals can be found just have to keep a eye out.

That turbo will not last long, but almost anything will flow more than a t-25

A 16g will be fine with a side mount. You can get a 1st gen side mount, and have the inlet and outlets cut and weld on the 2.25'' inlet and outlet from your 2g. You will have to find someone that can weld alluminum. The 1g cools better

true that but i mean if your getting a good deal on this then u got nothing to loose dude i say try it and see what happens this things are just china junk like my man said but its a 50/50 you know you never really knw what happens untill you find out for your self.
