The water injection kit that i got was from www.aquastealth.com. Great kit. The only thing that you can see from the kit that would be any give away is the one line going to the throttle body. If it is done right it is not just a band aid for too small of an intercooler. It does so much for cooling the air and lowering the chances of knocking. Check this out.

Theres actually even better stories than that about w/i. A guy with a 20g running 20 psi on a stock sidemount with 0 knock. Thats more than just a band aid. As for power goals nazthug you will see much more than 300 horsepower on the to4b. I got 276 to the wheels on my b16g. Plus i'm awd so you will see much more out of that turbo.

thanks for the belief..LOL

I am just talking conservatively, and realistically, without pushing it, i would like to stay in the high 10s/low 11's a/'f on my wideband(i have the plx300 wideband)

If i can get 300whp on pump(91 octane) i would be happy as hell. I am also getting water injection, IM SO PISSED AT MYSELF for not getting it a long time ago and giving my engine more room to breathe and play safer, damnit

I am sure i get knock al the time now, a little at least, and the water injection will totally take it out

PLUS here in fresno it gets over 100* and with water injection, i can drive as easily as i do in winter and not feel bad about it, LOL

Well im sold on the To4E but on their website they have the option of either choosing a 57trim or a 60 trim whats the pros and cons.... Sweet97 mentioned that his T04E had some pretty good spool up Which one was he talking about??? What exactly does that change.....

I have aTo4e 50 trim. I would stay away from the 57 and 60 trims. they are too big and would likely spool slowly. Mark

Actually, the 57 and the 60 are less than 2/10'ths of an inch larger only at the inducer of the compressor wheel. With the same turbine wheel and housing you would likely not see a difference in spool up over the 50 trim.

Flat out question for ya :p : Can I simply bolt on the V-trim to my stock 2g exhaust mani. and an aftermarket 2.5"-3" downpipe? What's the size of the intake? Thanks in advance :thumb:

Yes, it will bolt to your stock exhaust manifold and downpipe. The intake is a 3" O.D.

[sarcasm]Yes, and 2/10 of an inch is NOTHING on a turbo inducer. Not even noticeable [/sarcasm]

57 trims are garbage, 60 trims are nice, but the lag difference over a 50 trim is noticeable and mesaureable.

Well since I was the thread starter, I guess I should update this thread..

I ordered the To4b Internally gated with a turbine housing to o2 housing gasket, and also the oil feed and drain line kit. I called my order in, And the person I spoke with was very nice, One of the nicest people i've ever done business with yet. I had a slight problem with my oil feed line, I had got it with a kink in the line, Which was not their fault. It was whoever makes the lines. I sent it back and they said they will send me a new one out immediatly!!! Great customer service.

The turbo is on my car now. It's at only 10psi and the car needs to be tuned really bad. I had a huge exhaust leak which would only let me build 3psi of boost last nite in 1st and 2nd. then normal 10psi in the rest of the gears. I raced a civic hatch back last nite(I know, I know...) and he also used nitrous, It starts to spray when he goes full throttle... Anyways, As soon as I hit 10psi in 3rd, I went from being next to him, To way in front of him, I shot like a sling shot.

Today I fixed the boosting problem and now it is running stronger, At only 10psi! I cant wait to see how nuts the car gets at 20psi. Because right now at 10psi, It feels really strong. I dont even think it's in it's efficency range?

Either way, Everything looks great, And came packaged up really good. They answered all of my questions and helped me with any problems I have had. I'm really happy I got this turbo now. I just wish I would have got it sooner instead of wasting money on a small 16g, Then a big 16g.. Then finally getting this turbo. If I could do it all over again, I would have just gotten this turbo first.

When I get my car tuned and raise the boost, I will post my results, And when I go to the track, I will definatly post what I ran with this turbo. I also plan on getting the car dyno tuned, Or at least dyno'd, So I will post my hp/tq results also. That will not be for alittle while though.

I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new turbo, To go with bullseye-power. The turbo's are not that expensive, And you definatly will be happy when you open the package, And when you put the actual product on the car!

Thanks again bullseye-power :D :thumb: :thumb: :D

Thanks for compliment. Your replacement oil feed line has already shipped, you should have it on Monday. If you need any help with tuning or anything please let us know.

did you get the vtrim or the h3 trim?

Does it pull harder then the 16g because thats what im upgrading from

I cant wait to get this along with my bigger injectors and dsmchips tune

If i can get 350whp out of it on race gas, i will be happy

I just read all 8 pages of this thread and now im also convinced that this turbo is for me. I just have to decide on the v-trim or the h-3. Im not sure about that...tho i am going to take everyone's advice and go directly from the T-25 to one of the t04b's instead of wasting my money on the 16g's. Ill be calling to order one in the near future unless you recomend buying one from thespeedfactor.com since you posted a link to their site a few pages ago in the thread. I cant wait to see the difference from the T-25 ...i hope it shocks me ;)

Yea I been keepin up w/ this post too.
In the beginning I posted"we need more feedback"
Looks like were getting it :thumb:

I went with the to4b v-trim. Like I said, Right now it is only at 10psi and it still feels strong. That hatch with nitrous I ran the other nite, only boosting 2psi in 1st and 2nd ran a 14.3, I'm also fwd but we started from a dead stop and I pulled out normal, As soon as I hit 3rd gear I pulled on him like nuts, and he was spraying still. not bad for 10psi in 3rd gear, I let off as soon as I got knock also, By the end of 3rd the race was over and there was no point in going into 4th gear because he was back far enough. I definatly thought he would beat me since my car isnt tunned good at all and I couldent build boost in 1st and 2nd!!!!

This turbo definatly pulls harder then the 16g. I had both the small and the big 16g. And for the price, You really cant go wrong. The installation was not hard at all. I blocked my water lines(I didnt think about just running a hose from one to the other when i was doing it :| ) You don't hafto dent/bang at you're water pipe or anything.

You will need a different intake though, Or at least a piece that extends you're stock one to 3" to go onto the compressor housing. I got 2 bends from lowes, Cut alittle off one end, And then just put them together, And bought a 3" rubber coupler from lower also and everything fit perfect. As soon as I get ahold of a digital camera, I will take pictures of it.

I also didnt think the stock o2 housing would match up, Because that part on the new turbo doesnt look like it would fit. It definatly does though, It all bolts right together with no problem at all. I think anyone who gets this will be very satisfied. Even if you hafto save up alittle more and wait alittle longer to get it, It will definatly be worth waiting for instead of just buying a 16g. This way you shouldent hafto upgrade turbo's again, Like I did.. 3 times. I had my big16g for 3 days and then I went with this :)

I hope someone else gets one of these turbo's and gets the full potential of this turbo, And you can also post you're results. :)

I just received this email from one of our customers. He has a 97 FWD with our T04B V-trim and just dyno'd his car at 20 psi. His list of mods include a Big Greddy FMIC, S-AFC, 3" O2 Eliminator Turbo back, 550's, 255lph FP and HKS 264/264 cams.

550's seem a little small...but those are damn good numbers. What size injectors would you recommend having with this turbo?

Yes, I would say that was about the end of the line of those injectors. Although, they were a set of Fuel Injector Clinic injectors. If you plan to make more than 400 whp I would suggest 650's.

wow, dave that graph looks amazing. i know the customers that we have sold your turbos to have been very happy with them. making that kind of power with spool like that would make for one hell of a car.

What gas was that on?

I thought you guys might ask that and he never mentioned it in his email. I would have to say that it wasn't just 93 octane since he wasn't shooting for a pump gas record.

i wouldnt say that is entirely true. the 60trims have made plenty of horsepower on pump too with very little difference with the 50trim.
