Resolved Strictly rear axles question

Question for anyone who has installed these to the inner cv cups. The kit comes with two packs of clips, one is a C-clip and the other is a thin lock washer. I know the C-clip goes after the tripod bearing, but what about the thin lock washer? Here is a pic of the pieces.

Unfortunately, I called 30 minutes after they closed yesterday. I message them on FB and after a few hours I got a reply and after a few messages they wanted a photo, but they stopped replying after I sent it. So I just missed them again.

Update: After several messages with Strictly on Facebook, it is confirmed that the washer is an unknown item and is unnecessary for the axles. They have never used them for installing axles at their shop and have no idea why it was included.
