Made some small changes (read: free) and the car broke into the 10's after running consistent 11.1's the past 2 years. I mainly bracket race, but bettering the ET is always nice.

Car is a 1991 GSX

-5 speed converted to auto
-kiggly manual shift mod
-Bridgestone RE01R tires on Evo 17" wheels
-Forced Performance 68HTA (16g with FP billet wheel).
-10 gallons E85, 2 gallons 91 pump
-Track temps were 120 deg, air temps were mid 90's, humidity was 90%, traction was VERY good
-Driven to/from the track, 65 miles each way, through the rain. :)

The consistency. Off the street 11.1xx, then it got really hotter with more humidity so the car slowed. Then I got some cool off time and better humidity, upped the 2 step and got an 11.020, then the 10.93. The car didn't have enough cool off time and the trans was too hot and killing MPH on the last pass, another 11.020. Also my light was horrible. I knew I needed to run a 50 light or better last pass and should of dialed tighter.

Also the car has gone 11.1xx many times on pure 92 octane fuel with poor traction but better air temps and humidity. My tires have been on the wear bars for the past 5000 miles and are starting to crack so I need good track prep to hold the launch.

Damn nice to hear the success you're having with that turbo, I've been thinking about getting that same turbo, is it running out of steam with how you're pushing it already?

Very nice!

Vehicle weight?

Congrats, when did you move to Maryland?

I run it without the wastegate line connected, so that is all she has. With better air conditions I feel it has 125-126mph in it with this car on the current converter.

I sent it off to dirty dog performance for a small stall increase. The guy who owns the shop is top notch and did great work. I highly recommend him and I think it only cost $130-$150.

Really..I might have to hit them up.How the stall now with that cheap restall.

What were the mods on the car just e85 and the 68hta.

Congrats! That is an amazing time for the 68HTA. Would love to hear a little more about the car.

Bought it from a friend who put it in a field after it stopped running. The chassis was originally from georgia so it has no rust, just a couple dings. I tore it down to the frame and windshield in 2010. Some field mice made a home in it so I tossed all the interior, pulled the dash, and all the wiring. I rewired the whole car, it runs off carlington switches that I put in the stock dash area. Then I added a cage, driveshaft loop, redid all the bushings on the car, and gave it a good garage alignment with cinder blocks, some strings, and a 90 deg carpenters angle.

After pushing it into the garage fall of 2010:

This is a couple days after I started working on it:

A couple days later with a fixed windshield and a hood I stomped back into shape it ran 11.1 on some slicks I borrowed from a friend.

I then put D2 coilovers on all around winter of 2011/2012 and ran it all 2012 running 11.1's.

Last fall, on pump gas the engine let go. I put on a used cylinder head that was leaking out out an overly machined valve guide, filled cyl 1 with oil mist, detonated, and pushed the HG. Limped it home

Fixed the cyl head and have only ran it twice this year. Hard to get out and find time to race.

Car is pretty simple

-stock engine, stock sized valves, casting in port runners are smoothed
-stock intake manifold and NT throttle body no porting
-FP turbo manifold, 68HTA, megan downpipe, DIY exhaust
-S&W 6 pt roll bar, kiggly SFI flex plate, DIY drive shaft loop
-stock driveshaft, stock tx case, stock 4 bolt rear end
-evo 8 ecu, ID1000 injectors, wally 255 intake feeding bosch 044 inline, stock fuel lines/regulator/rail
-JM FAB FMIC, DIY 2.5" charge piping, TiAL BOV
-FP2 cams, evo 8 valvesprings
-stock shifter modified to ratched through the gears to work with the kiggly manual shifter mod
-stock trans, no shift kit, just aftermarket cooler, wolfs head synthetic trans fluid ($60/12 qt)
-Franks Fiberglass hood, lexan rear hatch window

Still looking for manual window door cards, a nice 1g dash, and some nice 1g center console pieces. Also looking for a set of 15" wheels that are wide enough to run a 26" tall 8.5" wide tire.

Pretty badass man, love seeing 10 sec td05 street cars.

Can I ask what you change on you e85 to pumpgas tune? Granted my car's on a 30r now, but just changing to corn, dsmlink logs show 40-60 more hp without touching boost/timing etc, just setting globals. I know on the evo3 it was a pretty big change also, and I could just get that much more aggressive. I'd expect maybe a bigger jump over the 11.1 on straight 92 runs, but maybe it was just that hot out.

Just a question, definitely great job.

What boost are you seeing and what do you think the weight is ?
