Ok this is strange I hook the starter up and it won't spin so I tested the starter but put the ground cable directly to the starter like where the bolt goes through and it will spin just fine I hook it up in my car and try and turn it over it won't crank. I take it out hook it up with a pair of cables. Hook the ground to the back of the starter where a normal ground from the battery would go no turn just clicking. take that same ground hook it to the starter like where the bolt goes and it start works perfectly.
It is almost like the little cable that goes from the inside of the starter to the negative on the back of the solenoid is no good. Anyone seen this before?
Any help would be great thanks
