91 standard transaxle. I have no goodies, ie. cruise, locks, wipers, headlights, nothing, etc...drag only car, trailer queen...et et. Anyways, I am curious to which inputs to the ecu are mandatory and which are not. Obviously 12 volt input, engine open/closed loop info, but I am to the point to finalize ecu wiring. I could really use some expert help here. I can get more detail no problem!http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/images/smilies/confused2.gif

ok for example I am confused about pin 108 and 110...ignition switch "st" AND 1G respectively. \ And also bothering me, are pins 107 and 102 12 volt sources? (from mpi relay and...power supply..)

when you say capacitor..do you mean to say driver for fuel injectors or what other capacitors are you talking about. Caps are to step up voltage for a short period of time, much like a battery, aka kickstarting something. I am not sure what you mean.

Pin 108 tells the ecu when the ignition is in the start position. Pin 110 tells the ecu the ignition is in the "ON" position. When this happens, the ecu grounds pin 63 which activates the power portion of the mpi relay and sends 12V to pins 102 and 107 of the ecu, which will then cause the ecu to boot up.

I want a manual switch to boot up 102 and 107 and remove the mpi switch. Is the 110 "1g" on during cranking or is it off while 108 is on? Also, pin 63,66 and 56 are all outputs right? The computer doesn't need to have any signal returned from those if I were to manually boot up the computer...am I making sense?
