Alright so i have been chasing down problems with the 95 tsi awd since i got it.

I finally found out it had an improper 6 bolt swap done to it which has been making it run badly. Well now i'm down by the ecu and i'm noticing that some wires are spliced and i cant figure out why. There's three big green wires in the going into the ecu in pins 75 (o2 sensor port), 76 (o2 sensor port), and 78 which should be empty.
I'm just wondering if anyone can give me a hand and tell me a site or any help to get me back on track as to what color wires should be going into the 75, 76, and 78 pins.

I hope this gets me back on the road, thanks in advance.

According to my chiltons book all three of those wires should be white.
75 goes to rear heated oxygen sensor
76 goes to front heated oxygen sensor
78 goes to knock sensor

hope that helps a bit

so i have three white wires and they all go to 1 of three spots, i guess i will jsut try a bit LOL. Thanks for the help, and thats for the 95 not the later ones, rre's say front and read but say 78 should be empty but i will give it a shot thanks for the zippy answer :) does the chiltons manual have the hwole ecu layout with the wire colors, I have a haynes and i didnt see that.

Here is a scan of the ecu wiring for the 95 tsi. If you open it will something you can zoom with it will be pretty easy to read.
